Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (box trucks or straight trucks) for local deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork compliance
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adapt to dynamic routes and schedules with minimal supervision
- Ensure proper loading/unloading of freight with care
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable CDL driving experience
- Clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Knowledge of Louisiana commercial vehicle regulations
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Availability for flexible shifts (mornings, afternoons, weekends)
