Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and delivery vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and handling of goods.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records, including daily logs and delivery receipts.
- Navigate routes efficiently using GPS systems and adhere to traffic laws.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or Class B required.
- Minimum of 1 year of driving experience preferred.
- Current DOT medical card and acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR).
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws and safety protocols.
