Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across Miami-Dade County
- Perform thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and DOT regulations at all times
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and pickups
- Efficiently navigate Miami's traffic patterns while maintaining on-time delivery schedules
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize routes and resolve delivery issues
- Assist with loading/unloading cargo using proper equipment techniques
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Miami metropolitan area geography
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying weather conditions
- Professional communication and customer service aptitude
