Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B CDL) to transport freight within Arizona and surrounding states
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Load/unload freight using proper equipment and securement techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
- Navigate efficiently using GPS systems while maintaining on-time delivery schedules
- Complete necessary paperwork and electronic logging accurately
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with HOS regulations and electronic logging devices
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety excellence
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate loading equipment
- Flexible availability including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Knowledge of Arizona roadways and weather conditions
