Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages and goods on time
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology to optimize delivery schedules
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures
- Inspect vehicles before/after routes to ensure safety and cleanliness
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Report accidents, delays, or route issues promptly to dispatch
- Assist with loading/unloading packages at warehouse locations
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Georgia driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of Atlanta metro area and surrounding communities
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds regularly
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Prior delivery experience preferred but not required
