As a Delivery Driver with SwiftPath, you will be the face of our company, ensuring our customers receive their packages safely and on time. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, competitive pay, and the training necessary to succeed in the transportation industry.
Responsibilities
- Safe & Efficient Delivery: Operate commercial delivery vehicles in a safe, courteous, and timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Load & Unload: Safely load and unload packages from the delivery truck, including heavy lifting and stacking.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Documentation: Verify delivery addresses, maintain accurate logs, and obtain customer signatures when required.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients, answer questions, and resolve delivery issues on the spot.
- Route Planning: Follow assigned routes efficiently to maximize productivity and minimize fuel consumption.
Qualifications
- License: Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B is a plus; Entry Level applicants with a standard driver's license are considered.
- Record: Clean driving record (MVR check) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to read maps and GPS systems.
- Availability: Flexibility to work varying shifts, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
- Experience: Previous driving experience is preferred but not mandatory for our entry-level positions.
