Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses within designated Washington DC zones
- Maintain accurate delivery records using our proprietary mobile tracking system
- Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
- Assist with loading/unloading packages at our distribution center
- Communicate delivery status updates to dispatch team in real-time
- Represent Capital City Couriers professionally through appearance and conduct
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 2 years)
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and package scanning
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Reliable transportation to our DC distribution center
