Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) to transport goods within Louisville metro and surrounding regions
- Adhere to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Complete pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate mileage logs
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and pickups
- Utilize remote dispatch apps for real-time route updates and communication
- Collaborate with logistics team for efficient load planning and troubleshooting
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with company policies
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of Louisville metro area navigation
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Smartphone proficiency for remote dispatch apps
