Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local/regional deliveries
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and Louisville routing protocols
- Load/unload shipments with precision using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery and pickup interactions
- Utilize GPS systems for efficient navigation and real-time delivery tracking
- Document delivery exceptions and maintain digital proof-of-delivery records
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with air brake endorsement
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficient in electronic logging devices (ELD) systems
- Basic forklift certification preferred
- Strong spatial orientation and Louisville area navigation skills
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holiday shifts
