Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver and pickup freight within the Louisville metro area and surrounding regions.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment (pallet jacks, straps, etc.).
- Verify the accuracy of shipments and complete all necessary shipping and receiving documentation.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies at all times.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demonstrate exceptional customer service.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination (Medical Card).
- Basic English language proficiency for clear communication.
- Willingness to work varying shifts and occasional weekends.
- Strong time management skills and attention to detail.
