Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) in accordance with all federal and state traffic laws and company policies.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and cargo protection.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic logging devices (ELD) and delivery documentation.
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and time windows to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any issues encountered on the road.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with the appropriate endorsements (e.g., Hazmat, Tanker) as required by the role.
- Achieved a satisfactory driving record (MVR) with no recent major violations or DUI convictions.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and a drug screen.
- Physically fit and able to lift, carry, and maneuver cargo up to 50 lbs without assistance.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
