Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated California routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Efficiently manage delivery timelines and communicate with dispatch
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery and pick-up operations
- Document transportation paperwork and handle cargo with care
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of California traffic laws and route navigation
- Pass background check and drug screening (company policy)
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Availability to work flexible shifts including weekends
