Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) for local deliveries in Long Beach and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using our digital tracking system
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding route updates and delays
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Long Beach area and Southern California routes
- Basic knowledge of freight handling and securement procedures
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, or weekends as needed
- Must pass background check and MVR verification
