Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A or B commercial vehicles for local deliveries
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment handling
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Operate in diverse weather and traffic conditions
- Maintain clean driving record and report maintenance issues
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Long Beach area routes and geography
- Basic mechanical knowledge of commercial vehicles
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Flexibility to work evenings/weekends as needed
