Responsibilities
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload freight safely and efficiently using hand tools and material handling equipment.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging devices (ELD) in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety policies at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients at each delivery stop.
- Keep the truck interior and exterior clean and organized.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route changes or delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or Class B required.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Medical Card) on file.
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Basic knowledge of truck safety, DOT regulations, and pre-trip inspection procedures.
- Strong time management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
