Responsibilities
- Safe operation of Class A/B commercial vehicles for local deliveries within San Francisco
- Timely pickup and transportation of goods while maintaining delivery schedules
- Thorough pre-trip/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance documentation
- Strict adherence to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Excellent customer service during delivery interactions and problem resolution
- Efficient route optimization using GPS technology and traffic awareness
- Accurate cargo handling and secure loading/unloading procedures
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Knowledge of San Francisco geography and traffic patterns
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly during loading/unloading
- DOT medical certification and required endorsements (Hazmat a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and punctuality
- Professional communication skills and customer service mindset
- Pass background check and drug screening
