Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) in accordance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment and techniques, ensuring cargo security.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date Electronic Logging Device (ELD) records.
- Adhere to strict DOT compliance standards and company safety policies at all times.
- Interact professionally with customers and co-workers to ensure a positive work environment.
- Keep the cab and cargo area clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with the required endorsements (hazmat/tanker preferred but not mandatory).
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience (preferred for higher pay grades).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-service oriented attitude.
- Ability to read maps and follow directions accurately.
- Willingness to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
