As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of freight across the region. We value safety above all else and provide the training and support you need to succeed.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) in compliance with traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring all freight is properly secured and accounted for.
- Complete all required delivery documentation and logs accurately and on time.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify and report any mechanical issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized truck cab and cargo area.
- Interact professionally with customers and warehouse personnel to ensure satisfaction.
- Adhere to strict company policies regarding hours of service and routing.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Current DOT Medical Card and proof of insurance.
- Clean driving record (no DUI, reckless driving, or major accidents in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic knowledge of cargo securement and weight distribution.
