Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently to deliver cargo on time.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload freight while adhering to weight and balance regulations.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and delivery documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL License with the appropriate endorsements.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) or DOT medical card.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the past 3-5 years.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of road safety and traffic regulations.
- Basic mechanical skills to perform minor vehicle maintenance checks.
