Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and vans for local delivery routes in the Atlanta metro area.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling equipment.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure DOT compliance.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, receipts, and paperwork for all shipments.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Georgia Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT physical).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Basic computer literacy for logging duties.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
