Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A or Class B vehicles to deliver freight across Georgia and into Florida markets.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure DOT compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery logs.
- Interact professionally with customers and team members at pickup and delivery locations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with required endorsements (e.g., Hazmat if applicable).
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MEC) and a clean MVR record.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- At least 1 year of verifiable driving experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and occasional weekend availability.
