Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) for local deliveries and route transportation
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols at all times
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques and equipment operation
- Optimize delivery routes for efficiency and on-time performance
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with all traffic laws
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B with current endorsements
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations or DUI/DWI convictions
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and operate loading equipment safely
- Proficiency in using GPS navigation and digital logging systems
- Strong time management and problem-solving abilities
- Pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Flexible availability including weekends and early mornings
