Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) on local and regional routes within North Carolina.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and delivery documentation (E-Logs compliant).
- Provide exceptional customer service during pickups and deliveries.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with the appropriate endorsements.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Familiarity with navigation systems and basic vehicle maintenance.
