We are currently seeking dedicated and reliable Part-Time CDL Drivers to join our elite logistics team in Los Angeles. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of freight to various commercial and residential locations across the Greater Los Angeles Area. We offer a dynamic work environment with opportunities for growth and stability.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) to transport freight to designated delivery points.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, ensuring weight distribution and cargo security.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures at all times.
- Interact professionally with customers and resolve delivery issues on the spot.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging device (ELD) records.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical) on file.
- Clean driving record with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and route navigation.
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
