Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or Class B) in accordance with all federal and state regulations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing freight.
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and time windows while maintaining high customer service standards.
- Complete all necessary paperwork, including delivery receipts and logbooks, accurately and on time.
- Maintain a clean and organized cab and cargo area at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delays or issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Must possess a current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws, safety protocols, and road conditions.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
