Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers to deliver freight on time and within budget.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring all items are secured properly.
- Maintain accurate daily logs (DVIR) and adhere to all DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and route changes.
- Keep the vehicle clean and presentable at all times.
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety policies strictly.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required.
- Current Medical Card (DOT compliant) must be provided.
- Must possess a clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- At least 21 years of age.
