Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver freight to designated locations on time.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently using proper equipment.
- Maintain accurate logbooks, delivery receipts, and mileage records.
- Provide exceptional customer service during all deliveries.
- Adhere to all federal and state driving regulations and company policies.
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues immediately to fleet management.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or B.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT physical) on file.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- At least 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor vehicle troubleshooting.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
