Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (trucks/tractors) following DOT regulations and company policies
- Load/unload freight efficiently while verifying documentation and cargo security
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adapt routes for traffic/weather conditions to ensure timely deliveries
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status and delays
- Comply with all federal/state transportation laws and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Florida roadways and traffic patterns
- Pass background check and drug screening (required)
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work evenings/weekends as needed
