Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) for local deliveries
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment and techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and vehicle maintenance checks
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Navigate metropolitan routes efficiently using GPS systems
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License
- 1+ years of verifiable CDL driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Basic knowledge of Detroit metro area and surrounding routes
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
