Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport goods across Ohio and neighboring states
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation per FMCSA regulations
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery and pickup operations
- Adapt routes efficiently using GPS technology and real-time traffic updates
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize delivery schedules
- Uphold strict safety protocols and secure cargo procedures
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly during loading/unloading
- Strong knowledge of Ohio traffic laws and DOT regulations
- Flexible availability including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Excellent time management and route navigation skills
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening
