Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) to transport goods within Columbus metro area
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adapt routes efficiently based on traffic and delivery priorities
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong time management and route planning skills
- Basic knowledge of Columbus area and surrounding communities
- DOT medical certification current
