Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles on local and regional routes within Charlotte and surrounding areas.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently while maintaining cargo security and safety standards.
- Complete electronic logging (ELD) and delivery documentation accurately and on time.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any delays.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while representing the company.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Ability to lift and carry cargo weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Basic computer proficiency for logging and communication.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC).
