Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver goods to local clients within the Charlotte metro area.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment (pallet jacks, hand trucks) to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service during pickups and deliveries.
- Adhere to all company policies, traffic laws, and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Basic knowledge of DOT hours-of-service regulations.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Reliable transportation to and from the terminal.
