Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) for local and regional deliveries in Charlotte metro area
- Ensure timely and safe transportation of goods while maintaining strict adherence to DOT regulations
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Utilize GPS technology for efficient route planning and delivery optimization
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading and delivery interactions
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for compliance
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments and updates
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Charlotte metro area and surrounding regions
- DOT medical certification and ability to pass background check
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and early morning shifts
