Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B CDL) for local deliveries and route transportation
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment and maintain accurate delivery records
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize routes for efficiency and on-time performance
- Maintain clean driving record and required certifications
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Boston metro area geography and traffic patterns
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends
