Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (box trucks, dry vans) for local/regional deliveries
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes using GPS systems to meet delivery timelines
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork (BOLs, manifests)
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team for route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no DUI/DWI in past 5 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Familiarity with North Carolina roadways and regulations
- Basic navigation skills (GPS/Google Maps proficiency)
- Strong communication and time-management abilities
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
