Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial locations across Memphis
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures when required
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
- Assist with loading/unloading packages using proper lifting techniques
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding delivery status and special requests
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Report delivery issues or vehicle maintenance needs promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Tennessee driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to operate box trucks or cargo vans (training provided)
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Basic navigation proficiency (GPS knowledge preferred)
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Reliable transportation to and from depot
