Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport packages and goods throughout Charlotte metropolitan area using company-provided vehicles
- Maintain precise delivery records and obtain customer signatures for all shipments
- Optimize daily routes using GPS technology to ensure timely arrivals and maximize efficiency
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service during all delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges and update delivery statuses
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 3 years)
- Proven experience in delivery, logistics, or similar field preferred
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout shift
- Strong knowledge of Charlotte area roads and navigation systems
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Professional communication style and customer service focus
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
- Must pass background check and drug screening
