Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (box trucks, straight trucks) within Boston Metro area
- Load/unload shipments with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and route documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery interactions
- Optimize routes for timely deliveries in urban environments
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable CDL driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Knowledge of Boston Metro area and surrounding regions
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
