Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport goods within Baltimore and surrounding areas
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Deliver freight to retail locations and distribution centers on schedule
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize routes and delivery times
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Baltimore metro area and Maryland roadways
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed
