Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (box trucks/straight trucks) for local deliveries in Austin metro area
- Maintain strict adherence to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Load/unload freight safely using proper equipment and techniques
- Complete accurate delivery documentation and route optimization
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team for timely route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable CDL driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Knowledge of Austin metro area roadways and traffic patterns
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- DOT medical certification current and valid
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
