Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently within Atlanta metropolitan area
- Deliver goods and materials to designated locations while adhering to delivery schedules
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Ensure compliance with all DOT regulations and company safety policies
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery interactions
- Assist with loading/unloading of cargo when required
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or B license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Atlanta roadways and surrounding areas
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Basic computer skills for electronic logging
- Strong time management and organizational abilities
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
