Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and delivery vehicles according to all traffic laws and company regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging devices (ELD) within legal hours of service limits.
- Provide exceptional customer service by delivering products on time and maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Keep the vehicle clean and organized, reporting any mechanical issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B required.
- Must possess a clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Must be at least 21 years of age for interstate driving.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong knowledge of road maps and navigation systems.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing repetitive motions.
- Excellent time management and communication skills.
