Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and vans within the Atlanta metropolitan area and surrounding regions.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and report vehicle issues promptly.
- Deliver freight to designated locations in a timely and professional manner, adhering to strict delivery schedules.
- Maintain accurate Electronic Logging Device (ELD) records and daily delivery logs.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment and techniques to prevent damage.
- Interact professionally with customers and warehouse personnel at each stop.
- Keep the vehicle interior and exterior clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL license (Georgia or Interstate).
- Clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Current DOT Medical Card (or willingness to obtain one).
- Ability to pass a mandatory drug screen and background check.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of DOT regulations, safety protocols, and traffic laws.
