Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the safety and mechanical soundness of the equipment.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and documentation of all freight.
- Maintain accurate logs and records, including electronic logging devices (ELD) and delivery receipts.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any delays.
- Uphold a professional image and represent our company with excellence.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or Class B required.
- Must possess a clean driving record with no serious violations.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and handle the physical demands of the job.
- Basic knowledge of cargo securement and DOT regulations.
- Must have a reliable means of transportation to and from the terminal.
