Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B CDL required) for local deliveries
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and perform pre/post-trip inspections
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service during client interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Participate in ongoing safety training and equipment maintenance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Oakland Bay Area geography
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Pass background check and drug screening
