Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) for local deliveries within Miami metropolitan area
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Load/unload cargo using proper material handling equipment
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Optimize routes to ensure timely deliveries while minimizing fuel consumption
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B
- Minimum 1 year verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Miami-Dade County roadways and traffic patterns
- Basic knowledge of cargo securement techniques
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
