Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods within designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Optimize routes for efficiency and on-time deliveries
- Submit timely delivery documentation and expense reports
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable truck driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Charlotte area roadways and traffic patterns
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD)
