Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (box trucks or straight trucks) for local and regional deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using digital tracking systems
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip to ensure compliance with DOT safety standards
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Handle freight with care, including loading/unloading assistance
- Adhere to strict delivery time windows and company protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening (company-provided)
- Proficiency with GPS navigation and delivery tracking apps
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly during shifts
- Strong time management and route planning skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
