Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A/B commercial vehicles for local deliveries within the Philadelphia metro area
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, local traffic laws, and company safety protocols
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques and equipment operation
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging system compliance
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments and delivery confirmations
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical examination and drug screening
- Proficient in electronic logging device (ELD) usage
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Philadelphia metropolitan area roadways
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Flexible availability including weekend shifts
